  • Webinar Recap: Faster response times with JSM’s AI‑powered Knowledge Base (AMA): During the session, we covered many questions live and this page covers those that we couldn’t answer within the allotted time. For those who weren’t able to join, you can access the recording here.

  • A more powerful way to update and view your Goals: We’re introducing bundled updates in the Goals app - a new way to update and view goals and success measures together in one view. We’ve also redesigned the right-hand sidebar to make key goal details easier to scan.

  • Making data security easier to configure at scale: The organization-level data security policy evolves what was previously separate data security policies into one unified policy. This makes data security easier to configure and manage, especially for large organizations that want to operate closed-by-default.

  • Performance and Scale Digest | 2026 Q1: Read about new limits, guardrails, and data management tools for the Jira Cloud family of apps, and about performance mode for Confluence.

  • Cloud Enterprise capabilities to help you govern cloud growth at scale: 80% of Enterprise cloud customers use Guard Standard. Cloud Enterprise includes Guard Standard for that reason, but also goes even further to help you establish proactive governance at scale. This article highlights three capabilities exclusive to Cloud Enterprise to help you strengthen your security posture. Enterprise

Confluence

Jira

  • 3-5 min. survey on adapting Jira to how your team works: Getting Jira to fit your team isn't always easy, especially when you don't have full admin access. We want to understand that experience better, and improve Jira for teams like yours. Feedback Opportunity

  • Changes coming to Timeline views in Jira’s mobile app: As we invest in new views designed around how teams actually use Jira on the go, we’ve made the decision to remove the current timeline view in Jira’s mobile app. Timelines are still fully accessible via web at any time. This change will gradually rollout over the next 6 months.

  • Help us reimagine Jira Admin workflows with agents: We’re exploring how AI agents can help Jira Admins automate more of their daily work and spend less time on repetitive tasks - such as Jira configuration updates, user requests related to Jira configuration, or any other time-consuming workflows. We’re inviting Jira Admins to directly influence Jira’s roadmap, shape what an “admin agent” should (and shouldn’t) do, and help us design solutions that meaningfully reduce admin toil. (45-60 min. call) Feedback Opportunity

  • 🎉 Celebrating your custom user onboarding creations with Jira + Loom: A few weeks ago, we invited you to share how you're using Jira's custom onboarding feature to welcome new users. We're thrilled to spotlight some of the submissions. Each one brings a unique perspective on how to make onboarding smoother, more personal, and more effective. Premium & Enterprise

  • Loom Fundamentals Certificate is LIVE: This certificate is designed to make recognition easier, faster, and more inclusive for every Loom user. Free and open-book means there’s no barrier to getting started. If you use Loom at work, you’re already on your way.

  • Action Required: SharePoint Connector Auth Upgrade: If your organization already uses the Microsoft SharePoint connector in Rovo, an admin needs to complete an updated authentication flow as soon as possible. Both steps usually take a few minutes. You do not need to create a Microsoft app registration, generate certificates, or manage client secrets.

  • Are you one of our Rovo Competition WINNERS!? Real teams shared how they're using Rovo to cut through busywork, break down silos, and get more done - together. The votes are in, see which Rovo examples have been selected as winners by our community.

  • Rovo Dev

    • Jump‑start Code Reviewer customization with auto‑generated instructions: When Code Reviewer runs on a repo for the first time and finds no customization instructions, it automatically raises a one-time PR pre-filled with your repo's own coding standards and good patterns. Teams can review and merge it to put those standards to work immediately, edit it to make it your own, or close it if it's not for you.

    • Ship faster from Jira with Rovo Dev: Rovo Dev is now available directly inside Jira! This means you can now orchestrate multiple Rovo Dev sessions right from Jira to move from task item to merge-ready PR in the background while you stay focused on the hard problems.

    • Updates to Rovo Dev access and credit limits: These changes are designed to bring more clarity and consistency to how access is managed.

Additional Updates

  • Atlassian Analytics Enterprise

  • Bitbucket
    • Bitbucket Cloud is now available on the Atlassian Rovo MCP server: AI clients like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and VS Code can now browse repositories, create commits, open pull requests, and check pipeline results  all through the same secure MCP connection that already works with Jira and Confluence.

    • Bitbucket will now remember your pull request list filters: It will re-apply them any time you visit the list page. When you update your filters, we'll remember your choices. This works on both the workspace-level and repository-level PR list pages.

    • Bitbucket Pipelines

      • Introducing Final Steps in Bitbucket Pipelines: Final steps in Bitbucket Pipelines is a straightforward yet powerful mechanism to guarantee that your most important end-of-pipeline tasks execute regardless of earlier step outcomes.

      • Larger Cache and Artifact Support in Pipelines: We’ve launched larger cache and artifact support in Bitbucket Pipelines for paid plans to make builds faster, more reliable, and better suited to monorepos and dependency-heavy workflows.

      • Introducing the Bamboo to Bitbucket Pipelines Importer Tool: We’re announcing the Bamboo to Bitbucket Pipelines Importer Tool, and published a blog post detailing our recent announcement to migrate from Bamboo to Pipelines using the automated tool. Open Beta

      • Protecting Your Pipelines from the Axios Dependency Vulnerability: On March 31, 2026, a critical supply-chain vulnerability was identified in versions 1.14.1 and 0.30.4 of the axios npm package. This is not a vulnerability in Bitbucket Pipelines itself. However, if your pipeline builds, installs, or depends on a compromised version of axios (directly or transitively), your pipeline environment and the secrets accessible to it may have been exposed, just as your local environment could have been.

  • Data Center
    • New Security Insights for Data Center: Move from vulnerable to verified: We’re introducing Security Insights, available soon through Portfolio Insights. This is your new security dashboard that shows which Jira and Confluence Data Center instances need immediate attention.

    • Announcing OpenSearch in the 'Plan your upgrade' experience: Switching to OpenSearch gives you faster search and indexing, better scalability, and a more resilient infrastructure. If you're using Jira, you can also reduce your node count and save on hardware costs.

    • Get inspired by Rovo connectors for Data Center use cases: Rovo connectors for Data Center let cloud users who collaborate with apps and teams still on Data Center tap into knowledge from both environments in one place, across search, chat, and Rovo agents. This is for Data Center customers who also have active Standard, Premium, and Enterprise Cloud plans.

    • Reminder on changes to Data Center products: As of March 30th, new customers are unable to purchase or request a quote for impacted Data Center products or associated Data Center Marketplace app licenses; and customers and partners can no longer self-generate Data Center product trials. This milestone does not impact existing customers’ ability to purchase Data Center licenses or expansions.

  • Jira Product Discovery

  • Trello

    • New! Labels for your Inbox cards: We designed the Trello Inbox as a place to capture new cards quickly. We heard feedback that if you have a lot of cards, the Inbox can feel overwhelming to triage. To date, the Inbox didn’t offer the option to add a label but, starting this week, now it does! PS: You can also add a divider card to your Inbox to organize it into sections. Just type “---” into the title field of a new card and you’ll see it pop up.

    • Refreshing our Trello icons: These changes are intuitive and shouldn’t disrupt your workflows. One change to note is the Power-Ups icon. It’s gone from being a little rocket ship to an electrical plug 🔌 💡 but nothing else about the Power-Up menu or functionality has changed.

    • Move or copy up to 20 cards at once: Now you can select multiple cards (up to 20!) and move or copy them in one go. This feature allows you to bulk edit cards across both the Inbox and an active board.

  • Your Guide to Site Transfers and Org Consolidations: This article is for org admins planning or executing a consolidation of Atlassian Cloud sites and organizations, and IT, security, and business stakeholders who need to understand the options, risks, and trade-offs of making these changes.

  • Certiverse is live for all Atlassian credential exams: Atlassian transitioned exam delivery to Certiverse in March to provide a seamless, flexible, and modern experience for all credential exams.

  • Announcing Kudos points for Atlassian Learning courses! 📚 When you complete a learning course, you’ll receive 300 kudos points as well as a badge. These points per course will only apply to courses completed from March 23 on and do not apply to the courses you completed prior.

  • App Rationalization Framework: A Guide to Assessing Marketplace Apps: Before and after an Atlassian cloud migration, sites often accumulate unused apps. The Atlassian State of Teams 2025 report states that 89% of executives believe their organizations must accelerate to remain competitive. Excessive app usage can slow teams and risk this goal.
