🎉 Celebrating your custom user onboarding creations with Jira + Loom

A few weeks ago, we invited you to share how you're using Jira's custom onboarding feature to welcome new users, and you delivered! We're thrilled to spotlight some of the submissions. Each one brings a unique perspective on how to make onboarding smoother, more personal, and more effective.

Here's a quick look at what was shared:

🏆 My first custom onboarding — @Richard Scholtes from Boerse Stuttgart Group jumped in during the live demo event and built his first custom onboarding on the spot, embedding existing Loom how-to videos from his Confluence user group space to show new users how to open IT support tickets in Jira Service Management.

🏆 IT Support user onboarding experience — @Natalia Lezhai from Personio shared how her team onboards new IT Support hires with a polished experience that includes Loom walkthroughs, Confluence page links, and checklists for new joiners to complete in their first few months.

🏆 Using Jira custom onboarding for migration from DC to Cloud — @Tomislav Tobijas  from Koios Consulting got creative by using custom onboarding to guide users through a Data Center to Cloud migration, complete with beautifully designed backgrounds.

🏆 From Zero to Scalable: Building a Custom Jira Onboarding Experience with Loom, Confluence, and Rovo — @Artem Taranenko from Quayside Digital Consultants went above and beyond with a comprehensive guide on building a repeatable, scalable onboarding system using Jira, Confluence, Loom, and Rovo, including using a Rovo agent to generate consistent Loom video scripts from Confluence templates.
