Modern teams juggle multiple tools, workflows, and stakeholders every day. A System of Work helps you make sense of it all - so work flows smoothly, teams stay aligned, and outcomes are easier to deliver and measure.
This two-part workshop series will help you understand what a System of Work is, why it matters, and how to start applying it in your own organization.
February 24 & 25, 2026
Format: Virtual, live workshop
In Part 1, we’ll introduce the core concepts behind a “System of Work” and ground them in your day-to-day reality.
You’ll learn:
What a System of Work is and how it connects people, teams, tools, and workflows
Why it matters for strategy execution, visibility, and collaboration
How it shows up today in the way your work moves across teams and tools
What “good” looks like when your System of Work is connected and intentional
We’ll walk through a concrete example you can apply in your own organization, and give you space to reflect on how work currently flows in your environment.
You’ll leave Part 1 with:
A simple mental model for thinking about your System of Work
A shared language you can use with leaders and teams
Inspiration and ideas to bring back to your organization ahead of Part 2
March 24 & 25, 2026
Format: Virtual, live workshop
In Part 2, we’ll move from concept to practice.
Together, we will:
Map an example System of Work for a fictional company
Identify who to involve when you run a System of Work discovery in your own organization
Spot key patterns and gaps in how work flows today (handoffs, bottlenecks, misalignments)
Turn insights into action, outlining a clear improvement plan anchored in your real-world context
You’ll leave Part 2 with:
A lightweight, reusable approach for running System of Work discovery sessions
Practical templates and prompts you can adapt for your own teams
A starter improvement plan framework to bring back to your stakeholders
