What are you looking to know about Filter Count?
The gadget allows you to define criteria, and see how many issues in a pre-defined filter meet your criteria
Here's an example of how you might set this up:
- Go to Filters > Advanced Issue Search
- Create a search, and save it as a Filter. For example, to search for a single Project's issues, you could use project = <<project key>>
- Next, go to your Dashboard, and edit it
- Add the Filter Count gadget
- For the filter, use the saved filter from (2)
- Then, set your counts. These are sub-queries you apply the main filter to divide the data into useful counts! You can add preset sub-queries, or create custom ones
- If creating custom select Build custom count from the drop-down. The custom counts are set using JQL - so for example to create an Overdue count...
- Give it a name
- Set Criteria to: due < startOfDay()
- Repeat for all custom counts needed
- Press Save to activate the gadget once counts are added, and Done to finish editing the dashboard
