• New home shortcuts are now available in the Confluence mobile app: With this update, Home now includes a shortcuts bar that gives you faster access to key destinations in the app. It’s designed to make navigation feel more useful, more personal, and more efficient the moment you open Confluence on mobile.
• Introducing a new level of control over anonymous access in Confluence: Anonymous access lets you share content from selected spaces with anyone who needs it, inside or outside your organization.Until now, individual spaces could still enable anonymous access even when it was turned off for their site. You can now ensure that when anonymous access is turned off at the site level, no space can override it.
• Update on the Jira Legacy Macro conversion - We Hear You: We know many of you have run into unexpected issues since the migration of the Jira Legacy macro to the new Jira Work Item macro and we’re addressing your feedback directly.
• XML Site and Space Export End of Life in Confluence Cloud: Starting December 1, 2026, XML Site Export and XML Space Export will continue to work, but Atlassian will no longer support these features and you’ll use XML export at your own risk.
• Share content outside your space with access links: This Beta is set to launch in July 2026 and for the duration of the Beta, we ask that you provide feedback on the feature and insights about your experience, including usability and performance in the private Community group we’ll set up. Jira Product Discovery

• 📣 Notifications for Contributors: Contributors who watch ideas haven't been getting notifications, but soon, Contributors who watch ideas will receive notifications for meaningful updates, even without a paid Jira license.
• Publish view permissions are coming to all JPD Creators: Publish view permissions will be enabled for all creators rather than being available only to space admins, with the rollout starting on June 16, 2026. This change also supports a broader JPD goal: making roadmaps and views easier to share as living, up-to-date artifacts rather than static exports.
• Create and read insights using your AI client (Rovo Dev, Claude, etc.): Here are instructions so your AI client can read insights added to JPD ideas, and create new insights, using the insights API.
• Improvement: JPD date fields in JQL: We now have proper support for JPD date fields in JQL, e.g. in search or Automation rules.

  • Deprecation of text operators (~, !~) on JQL interval date fields: Related to the date field improvement, we’re announcing the 3-month depreciation period for the text operators used with JPD interval date fields in JQL queries.

• FAQ: does Jira Product Discovery support Company-Managed Spaces? Can you standardize fields, enforce consistent workflows, and manage governance at scale? The answer is yes. The path just looks different from what you might be used to in Jira. Premium

Bitbucket

• Starred items in Bitbucket! ⭐ No more scrolling through ‘Recent’ or searching every time: you can now star your most important repositories and projects to pin them in the sidebar.
• Prevent container image overwrites with immutable tags in Bitbucket Packages: With immutable tags, workspace admins can set container image tags from being overwritten, moved, or modified after they're first pushed.
• Variable Sharing and Dynamic Step Conditions: In this video, we walk through how to add variable sharing and dynamic step conditions to a Bitbucket Pipeline so you can build modular pipelines that react to information only available at runtime. YouTube | 4+ min.
• Deprecation notice: Bitbucket Cloud app password brownout schedule and next steps: To help teams identify and migrate any remaining usage ahead of the enforcement date, we will run a series of controlled brownouts from June 9, 2026 to July 27, 2026, after which app passwords will be fully removed on July 28, 2026.
• Deprecation Notice: Removal of the merge parameter from Bitbucket Cloud Diff and Diffstat APIs: The merge query parameter on the diff and diffstat APIs will be permanently removed on September 4, 2026.
• Free and Premium self-hosted runners are generally available: The Free tier includes registering up to 100 self-hosted runners as part of your plan. Compass

• The Next Chapter for Compass: Compass is being phased out and its core capabilities (catalog and scorecards) will be delivered through the DX platform.

Data Center

• Retiring Atlassian Companion for Confluence Data Center in April 2027: Once the integration is removed, customers will no longer be able to edit files directly from Confluence using Atlassian Companion. However, attachments can still be downloaded, edited locally, and uploaded back to Confluence as a new version. We will continue to provide security updates for Atlassian Companion until December 2027.

Learning

• Lets earn the Jira Essentials (ACA-900) Certification! Atlassian Community Standout Creator of the Year Rob Hean is hosting free, live study sessions for the Jira Essentials certification.
