A few weeks ago we rolled out Bitbucket's new navigation, and we've been continuing to work on improvements based on your feedback. Here's what's new:
You can now star your most important repositories and projects to pin them in the sidebar. No more scrolling through "Recent" or searching every time — your go-to repos and projects are right where you left them. Star something once, and it stays at your fingertips whenever you open Bitbucket.
We've moved repository and project settings into a context menu directly in the side nav. Click the context menu on any repo or project to jump straight into its settings. If you use Jira or Confluence, this will feel familiar — it's the same pattern, so you don't have to hunt for settings in a separate page.
Why it matters: Both updates reduce clicks and help you stay in flow. Try them out, then let us know what’s working—or what could be better—in the comments or through the Give feedback… button in Bitbucket.
