You may have noticed we've shipped a new export experience for Automation audit logs, making it easier to analyse, report on, and archive your automation activity.
You can now export your Automation audit log data as a CSV file directly from the audit log view, available at the global, project, and individual rule level.
Go to Automation → Audit log
Apply any filters or date range you want
Click … → Export audit log data in CSV
Go to your project → Project settings → Automation → Audit log
Apply any filters or date range you want
Click … → Export audit log data in CSV
Open the rule in the rule builder → Audit log
Apply any filters or date range you want
Click … → Export audit log data in CSV
A CSV containing all log entries matching your current filters
A progress indicator while the export is being prepared
The ability to stop an in-progress export if needed
There's a maximum number of log entries per export. If you hit it, narrow your date range or add filters and export in batches
Exports run synchronously for now, so stay on the page until it completes. Background/async exports are on our radar for a future improvement
Give it a try and let us know what you think in the comments below.
“Rules” are now called “flows”, and “components” are now called “steps”.
With automation expanding across Atlassian, we’ve updated these terms to align with other experiences. Everything you’ve built still works the same.
