How to set a workflow post function to send an email without purchasing more Jira apps

Hi, I want to send an email as part of the workflow procedure to a group of people.

can you advise on how to so without purchasing extra apps?

Hi @Nofar 

No you don't need any app for doing that. Let me give you the steps.

• Create an event 'Send Mail'.
• In your notification scheme define who will receive when this 'Send Mail' event is triggered.
• In your post function change the generic event to 'Send Mail'

I created an event like you said named Boarding notification, and I added on the notification scheme notification to a single user: me

but I don't receive any email on that
