Loom

• Bitbucket Packages now supports Maven and npm registries 🎉 You can now publish and install Java and JavaScript packages right where your code and pipelines already live and no more juggling separate tools, permissions, or billing.

• Introducing Agentic Pipelines: AI automation for chores devs don’t want to do: You’ve probably seen the stat: Development teams spend 84% of their day doing things other than building features. It’s often high-effort but low-value; manual, repetitive, and easy to deprioritize in the moment. Agentic Pipelines is a new way to delegate those tasks to AI, orchestrating a fleet of agents to automatically, and routinely, handle the repetitive chores so you can get back to solving the fun, cool problems.

Rovo Dev

• Rovo Dev has a new default CLI experience: If you’ve been using acli rovodev run until now, think of the TUI as the same Rovo Dev agent you know, but in a richer, smoother terminal app experience.
• Updates to AI model access in Rovo Dev CLI: Existing Atlassian customers on Rovo Dev Standard will continue to have access to all available models as they become available. If you’re on a Rovo Dev trial, you'll get access to the full set of models if you continue onto a Rovo Dev Standard plan. Rovo Dev CLI and Rovo Dev in the IDE access is no longer included during the trial period.
• GPT-5.5 and Claude Opus 4.7 now available on Rovo Dev Standard: Use the /models slash command to switch between available AI models in Rovo Dev CLI & IDE. Switching between models and efficiency levels is quick, even in the middle of an active session:

Strategy Collection

• Early Access: Introducing Strategic Intelligence in Focus! This is an early access / closed beta of the new For you page in Focus, designed to give leaders one clear place to understand the health of their portfolio, including what’s at risk across their goals and projects.

• Announcing higher user tiers for Confluence and Jira Service Management: Confluence Cloud now supports up to 250,000 users per site*, a 67% increase from the previous 150,000 user cap. JSM Cloud has also increased to 100,000 agents per site**, representing a 400% jump from the previous cap of 20,000 agents. You can take advantage of these new user tiers through Standard, Premium, and Enterprise editions. *Standalone Confluence now supports up to 250,000 users; Confluence included in Teamwork Collection currently supports up to 100,000 users. **100,000 agents for both Jira Service Management & Customer Service Management is only available through Service Collection.

• Administration

  • System Health is now generally available! All customers were automatically enrolled during the beta, so if you’re already using it, you’re all set. Get started by going to admin.atlassian.com → Select your organization → Insights → System Health.

• Goals & Projects

  • Editor permissions in Goals and Projects: This update allows you to configure who can/can't edit/make changes to individual goals and projects.

  • Search query tips for the Goals & Projects GraphQL API: If you've been building on top of goals_search or projects_search, or wanted to give it a go, this is the guide you've been waiting for.

  • Paid Atlassian research opportunity – Do you set how your team shares project/goal updates? • Upcoming columns deprecation and value change: In the coming months, Analytics users will see the removal of the Scope mode column in the Team table; the removal of the Role column in the Team member table; and a value change in the Page viewed ID column in the Page viewed table under Confluence schema.

• Goals, Projects and Focus data available for data shares: You can export data from our Strategy Collection apps, including Goals, Projects, and Focus, and report on it.

Atlassian Automation

• ⚡️Introducing the Use Rovo action in Automations: This is a simple self-contained AI action that allows you to use AI in your automation to summarize, translate, transform or extract information without requiring a Rovo agent. This is now available in Automations everywhere - Studio, Jira, JSM and Confluence.

• 📣 New improvements for Atlassian Automation Advanced Components! We’re introducing “Delay Until” Output Projections, a powerful feature that will let you know why an automation rule resumed, and what changed. Premium & Enterprise

Data Center

• App compatibility scanner [Open Beta] The App compatibility scanner is a tool designed to help Jira and Confluence admins quickly check whether their installed apps, especially custom (in‑house) apps, are compatible with upcoming Data Center versions and understand the details of any incompatibilities.

• Security Insights for Data Center now in Beta in Portfolio Insights: This is your new security dashboard that shows which Jira and Confluence Data Center instances need immediate attention.

Jira Product Discovery

• 📣 By popular request: weekly granularity for the timeline view! You can now zoom the timeline down to a weekly scale, giving you a more granular view of your roadmap. Whether you're planning commitments for the next few sprints, tracking short-cycle features, or just want more control over how your timeline looks, you can now dial it in to the resolution that works for you.

• What we shipped in JPD in January-March 2026: We've been listening closely to your feedback across our community, support tickets, and surveys, and last quarter's releases were directly shaped by your input.

• When people change a view (e.g. filters) it is saved for everyone. Help! You can stop this from happening by opening the view; opening the little "lock" icon 🔒; and turning off ‘Autosave view configuration.’

• Deprecation of classic API token access for Jira Product Discovery GraphQL queries: We’re deprecating classic API tokens for Jira Product Discovery in favour of scoped, fine-grained tokens. These tokens provide better security and least-privilege access, aligning with the broader Atlassian token modernization initiative.

• How to manage cross-team dependencies in JPD: This page articles explains how to manage cross-team dependencies using connection fields on the Premium plan. It covers a model that we use at Atlassian to replace the chaotic "spaghetti" of ad-hoc dependency asks between teams and bring better visibility internally. Premium

Statuspage

• Upcoming Changes to Statuspage API Keys – Action Required by May 15, 2026: These changes are being introduced to ensure the security of API tokens used to access Statuspage. We also sent email communications about these changes to Statuspage admins in January 2026.

Trello

• Checklists - Now appearing on the front of your cards: You can now expand your list of items right from your board, without having to open and load the card details.

• ACP-520 Atlassian Cloud Organization Admin update and first-ever practice exam in Certiverse! The updated exam focuses on demonstrating your skills, not racing the clock. You will still be challenged, but the structure is designed to let you think, apply what you know, and show that you truly understand how to manage your Atlassian cloud organization.

• Jira Board Configuration Certification is Being Retired: This change allows the team to prioritize development of new exams with more AI-driven features while continuing to maintain and improve other exams. To support learners during this transition, the Board Configuration exam will remain available at a discounted price of $50 from May 1, 2026 through July 31, 2026.
