Announcing higher user tiers for Confluence and Jira Service Management

Scale and trust are foundational to your success in Atlassian Cloud, which is why we are transparent about user tiers and our commitment to raise them. Today, we’re delivering on that promise by significantly increasing user capacity for Confluence and Jira Service Management (JSM). This enables our largest Data Center customers to upgrade to Cloud and gives current Cloud customers more headroom to grow.

Raising the roof for cloud scalability

Confluence Cloud now supports up to 250,000 users per site, a 67% increase from the previous 150,000 user cap. JSM Cloud has also increased to 100,000 agents per site, representing a 400% jump from the previous cap of 20,000 agents. You can take advantage of these new user tiers through Standard, Premium, and Enterprise editions of both standalone Confluence* and Service Collection**.

With these two launches, you can bring your corporate intranet and service desk together at scale to eliminate information silos and optimize how work flows across teams:

  • Confluence: As more lines of business use Confluence as a home for company-wide knowledge, more projects, goals, and knowledge are captured in one place. That shared knowledge strengthens cross-functional alignment and gives Rovo deeper context to deliver relevant, trustworthy answers for everyone.
  • JSM: More service teams can now operate through a single ‘front door’, sharing one portal and knowledge base. When JSM is purchased through Service Collection, you also get Customer Service Management, Assets, and Rovo at no additional cost, unlocking broader service coverage with lower overall complexity.

This resulted in smarter caching, optimized APIs, and leaner database operations so you can confidently scale without worrying about performance slowdowns.

You can create a single site and give a seat to every citizen of every Europen micro state:

  • Andorra

  • Liechtenstein

  • San Marino

  • Vatican City

  • Monaco

  • Faroe Islands
