Upcoming columns deprecation and value change

Hi community,

We plan to make these changes in the coming months.

• Removal of the Scope mode column in the Team table

• Removal of the Role column in the Team member table

• Value change in the Page viewed ID column in the Page viewed table under Confluence schema

Upcoming deprecations - 2nd notice

Scope mode column in the Team table and Role column in the Team member table will be removed.

These 2 columns are both single value columns. We plan to fully deprecate these columns as they are no longer as useful. For more detailed explanation on these 2 columns, please refer to our earlier notification.

This deprecation applies to both Analytics App and data share.

For data share, the columns are:

Upcoming value change

The value in the Page viewed ID column will change. This column is in the Page viewed table under Confluence schema.

Please note that this change doesn’t change the structure of this ID column. It only changes the ID value itself, please see the highlighted portion in the table below.

If you are using this column for aggregation, it won’t impact you.
If you are retrieving the exact Page viewed ID itself, please be aware of this change.

What you need to do

If you are actively using the 2 deprecating columns, please remove them from your chart or filters.

If you are retrieving the exact value of Confluence Page viewed ID or using it as filter, please make adjustment if needed.

When the columns are removed, the changes will automatically be reflected in your lake connection. If you have existing chart or dashboard containing these columns, there will be an error message on the top of the lake connection page. Please modify the charts or dashboards.

When to expect these changes

The 2 deprecating columns will be removed from your lake connection on the 6th of July 2026.

Confluence Page viewed ID value change roll out will start the 15th of May and will complete around the 30th of June 2026.
