Hi everyone! π
We've got a small but mighty update to share today, and one that's been on your wishlist for a long time.
Until now, the smallest zoom level in the JPD timeline view was two weeks. For many of you, that was just too coarse, especially for near-term planning, sprint-level work, or shorter initiatives that deserved more precision.
We heard you, and it's here! You can now zoom the timeline down to a weekly scale, giving you a more granular view of your roadmap. Whether you're planning commitments for the next few sprints, tracking short-cycle features, or just want more control over how your timeline looks, you can now dial it in to the resolution that works for you.
Open the settings for any timeline view in JPD. You'll now see a Week option alongside the existing month & quarter scales.
We're rolling this out gradually. If your site is on the continuous release track, you should see it within the next week. If it is on the bundled release track, it will be available soon. Learn more about release tracks here.
Weβve recently shipped performance improvements for big timelines (lots of ideas, far in the future, many groups.
And weβre now adding support for one more level of hierarchy in the timeline view.
To see what else we shipped recently, see this article.
Keep the feedback coming, and we'll keep shipping. π
