Agentic Multiplayer Protocol (AMP)
- The Atlassian platform is for multiplayer human-agent work: We announced Agentic Multiplayer Protocol (AMP), our foundation for how humans and agents collaborate across the Atlassian platform. By grounding agents in enterprise trust, institutional context, and native workflows, AMP unlocks true multiplayer collaboration across your entire System of Work.
Artifacts
- š¦ Introducing Artifacts: A new app to host your AI-generated files: AI agents, including Rovo or external agents like ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor, have become incredible partners at generating files. But sharing them often means downloading and then uploading into a Slack thread or email, losing context, dealing with multiple versions, and no discoverability. Weāre thrilled to announce Artifacts, now in open beta. Artifacts is a new platform app that gives teams a secure, centralized, and trusted place to store, share, embed, and discover AI-generated files across your entire Atlassian workspace. Open Beta
Atlassian MCP
- Atlassian MCP brings more of your work within reach of any AI agent: Atlassian MCP now connects more Atlassian products to the AI clients you love to use. Itās been redesigned from the ground up with efficiency at its core, delivering 220+ tools without bloating your context. And even with a broader surface, it runs significantly leaner. Based on internal benchmarking on Claude models, it can save up to 25% tokens compared to the previous version on the same Jira and Confluence work.
Jira
- The new issue transition screen toggle - choosing your experience (new vs old): From now on you'll be able to switch between the new modernized transition screen and the old classic screen. If you'd prefer the classic screen, it's available to you again!Ā
- General Availability: the new Jira work item view: This is a visual refresh only. Your data, fields, work types, automations, reporting, and integrations all stay exactly as they are. Same Jira underneath, with a cleaner more focused view.
- Total work item size limit (500 MB): Starting in November 2026, Jira is introducing a total work item size limit of 500 MB per work item, excluding file attachments. This limit supplements existing per-work-item limits and field-level size caps described in Work item field limits. The total work item size limit acts as a platform safeguard designed to protect system reliability, responsiveness, and storage health across Jira Cloud.
- Try out Jiraās new Delivery Agent and help us shape it with your feedback! The Delivery Agent reads the real-time state of your Jira space and turns delivery signals into actionable updates, helping automate three core delivery rituals right from the Summary view. - [Free virtual event] How to balance admin governance & team agility in Jira: How do you give teams the freedom to customize how they work, without creating configuration chaos and administrative bottlenecks? With the right guardrails in place, admins can protect instance health and consistency while empowering teams to confidently self-serve. Join Atlassian Product Managers Justin Thomas and Carol Low to see how modern Jira features make it easier to strike that balance at scale. RSVP here. November 4 | 4-5 PM PST / 11 AM-12 PM AEDT (November 5)
- Jira dashboards are getting an upgrade - learn more ⨠: The new dashboard experience builds on the current Jira dashboards, with a modern canvas, richer reporting, dashboard-wide filters, AI-assisted creation, and additional ways to bring context from Jira, JSM, Assets, Goals, DevOps, and more into a single view.
- How to split your Jira spaces for release management: Most people ask this question the same way: should we have one Jira space per application? It's a reasonable instinct and it's usually close to right. But it's answering the wrong question, and the difference matters more the larger your estate gets. Community Champion

Rovo CLI is the intended successor to Rovo Dev CLI, which remains available during the transition. Beta

- Research opportunity: What would it take to make your service team 10x?? Service teams switch between many interfaces every day to resolve a single request. We're exploring how JSM could bring these together into one experience that helps every team member work at 10x. Before we build anything, we want to learn from the people doing the work. Register here. 60 min. | $100 digital gift card | Feedback Opportunity
- New AIOps integrations with Datadog, Sentry, and Splunk: Powered by Atlassian MCP, Rovo agents can access relevant third-party context to help incident responders reduce context-switching during triage so responders can coordinate, diagnose, and act with the full picture in front of them, achieving lower MTTR and reduced service downtime for the organization.
- Do your reports drive decisions, or just describe motion? A good service report should help three audiences at once: leaders decide, managers improve, and teams act. If it only satisfies one of those groups, it is probably incomplete. Community Champion
