First up, there has been a refresh to the community guidelines. One of the main things that keeps this community great is everyone being respectful of one another and following the rules. Never seen the guidelines? Be sure to check them out!

Next, for all you badge hunters out there, the Kudos passport is a new way for you to collect them all with a curated set of community challenges for you to follow to earn the Community Voyager badge. Wanna know what you need to do to get? Go read the article for details.

Speaking of new things to earn. The Atlassian Certification team has announced new titles/designations for you to work towards. This new system replaces the Atlassian Certificated Expert designation and you should go check out the article to learn more about what is available for you.

First up, if you regularly use many of the default gadgets for Jira Dashboards, you are going to want to read this article. As of Dec. 9th of this year, Atlassian will be decommissioning 5 of them and they will no longer function as of that date. Be sure to see if this will affect your environment.

Next, for everyone on Atlassian Cloud Enterprise products, you will be pleased to see the latest update that will give you more control over new product requests for Trello and BitBucket. For all the rest of us on premium or lower, we will need to keep requesting for this to be available.

Next, New AI features are helping you increase the speed at which you can create tasks or Jira issues from within Confluence.

One more for Confluence, Whiteboards are getting AI features now too! Soon you will be able to generate, cluster and summarize your sticky notes using Atlassian Intelligence.

Do you remember Beacon? At Team '24 the beta product was renamed and rolled into the Guard Premium subscription, and it is now generally available. If you are looking for a more proactive way to be notified about threats in your Atlassian instance, you should read more about it today!

Moving over to JSM, rollout of the updated project settings navigation. This change is designed to group related items together, provide clearer labels for some of the items and bring consistency to the layout and patterns. Finally as of this being posted, Atlassian is renaming the “Services” object type in the JSM Assets Services Schema to “Software services“ introducing three new object types: Applications, Business services and Capabilities. If this is something that will affect you, I would encourage you to read the full article to see what you need to do to accommodate this change.
