Brand New Community Guidelines! ✨

We’re super excited to announce that we’ve updated our Community Guidelines!

We’d really like for everyone to read through our new Community Guidelines page to familiarise yourself with our Community Values and Rules of Engagement. With these new guidelines, we’re aiming to create a more engaging and helpful Community experience.

Our new Community Values were created in line with the Atlassian core values. The Community Values are:

  1. Connect as a Community connect50.png

  2. Engage With Heart and Balance balance50.png

  3. Be The Help You Seek seek50.png

  4. Respect Others, No Bullsh*t bull50.png

  5. Don’t F#@! the Community fck50.png

You can read about these values in more detail on the guidelines page.

We’ve refreshed our Rules of Engagement to clarify the behaviour we expect from our Community members. This will provide a framework for how content will be moderated on the community.

These guidelines are a living document, so they will be updated occasionally as needed. You’ll be able to see when the guidelines were last updated at the bottom of the page.

A big thank you to the Community Leaders who helped us develop these guidelines!

2 suggestions:

  1. Could you add a reminder to select the appropriate product when posting a question? I often find myself wondering something like, "Is this a Jira question or a Confluence question?"
  2. Is there a way that you could add a link to the guidelines to the Ask a Question page?
