Introducing Kudos passport!

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Whether you're just starting or looking to deepen your participation we've got something special to help you hit the ground running — the new Kudos Passport!

Kudos Passports are curated sets of Kudos challeges that we believe enhance your early member experience and reward contributions as you settle in here. By completing a full page of of your passport, you'll earn fun MEGA-badges! First one up is: Community Voyager

While collecting Voyager stamps you’ll learn:

• How to navigate the community to locate information and groups relevant to your personal journey

• Post your first question or reply

• How to set up your profile and customize the community homepage to your preferences

These are the first actions we recommend to familiarize yourself with the forum. Our goal with the Voyager passport is for you to feel confident and connected as you begin your journey here.

Regarding challenges, is it possible to see all available to do/in progress challenges?
When you expand the kudos panel from the top navigation bar, it seems that only 15 challenges are displayed some of which take time to get and some are locked. There are obviously more challenges behind these 15 but you can only see them once you complete the top ones.

@Janice for quick checks etc. I find I pick up on things visually quicker, but the kudos badges shown in your graphic are different from how they appear in my kudos badge list, which is confusing me and potentially others as well

I did a find on my Kudos tab to look for these badges. I'd like to thank @Stephen_Lugton for the answer to completing the Autobiographer challenge.

I have a question, does it start from scratch or will the badges we have already earned and will earn over the next few days also be taken into account?

And how are the completed challenges marked?

Hi @Vronik! The Community Voyager mega-badge is a new offering, but it is tuned to watch for completion of the other missions that make up this passport. This means if you completed all of the steps outlined in this post back when you joined the Atlassian Community, you should be eligible for the reward right away (and you'd find Community Voyager in your challenges menu to redeem it)! 

For now, the challenges are self-tracked through the pre-existing Kudos challenges Janice listed above, but we are actively working towards more visually-appealing methods fill in your passport(s), so stay tuned 🤩

@Bill Sheboy I don't think this will show there. I think that you get this by completing the 9 challenges shown in the image. These should be listed in the challenges list or in your profile Kudos tab (if you've completed them).

Based on the comment from @PJ Zaiac I thought the new one would appear for selection (once the others are done), yet I do not see it or it automagically "selected" in the profile.  Guess I'll wait a bit to see if it eventually appears :^)

I finished all of the listed prerequisites and do not see it listed in challenges yet.  Perhaps there is a bit of latency (or user error on my part :^) preventing it.  I'll look again next week or two.

I've checked all the requested badges, but I don't see Community Voyager anymore :-)! I guess the problem is what @Tomislav Tobijas _Koios_ mentioned - number of visible challenges are limited.

@Janice and @PJ Zaiac I checked and have collected all of the passport stamps, but cannot find the challenge to complete it for the Community Voyager Mega Badge. Can you assist? Thanks!

I also checked when this article was published and I had already received all of the requisite badges. I thought the mega-badge would be awarded automatically, but it wasn't. Based on everyone else's responses, I know I should claim it, but I have never seen the Community Voyage mega-badge listed to claim.

Thank you all for the feedback on locating the mission to claim the voyager mega-badge. I'll work with @PJ Zaiac to see how we can make the final mission appear more consistently once prerequisites are complete.  👍
