Hello Everyone!

It’s that time once again to take a look at everything that has happened in the past month! From major events, to product announcements, to amazing people providing great tips & best practices to help the Community, I guarantee there is something here for everyone. Let’s get started!

Announcements & Highlights:

As always, there are a TON of amazing things happening and here is just a small sample of all the great things you don’t want to miss out on!

• First up, Announcements in the online community will be converted to a group. If you want to receive notifications be sure to go to the new group and watch the articles.

• Related to that announcement, the first article in that group has been posted which is the latest release notes for the Online Community. Go check out the new changes coming to the logged-out home page.

• Next up, the Jira team is sharing some of their best tips and tricks over the next few weeks three tips have already been shared with 5 more coming. Be sure to come back and check out these awesome tips each and every week.

• The Atlassian University has just released a new certification for you to earn. Also, for a limited time, this certification is drastically discounted. If you have been looking for a new certification to take (like me) this might be one to check out.

• Next, there are a few events you might want to consider putting on the calendar. First, if you want to learn what Atlas is all about, be sure to sign up for this virtual event.

New Features & Product Updates:

• First, Jira Software projects now have a “Timeline view“ instead of a “Roadmap view“. This is a name change only. You still get all the same great benefits the Roadmap view always had just under a new name.
  New name, same powerful features: Roadmap is now Timeline!

• Assets in Jira Service Management is getting templates! I’m really excited about this since one of the biggest things I struggled with when first working with assets was trying to figure out how to build my object schema and deciding what should be included. With templates you have a starting out to work from and I’m looking forward to seeing additional templates added in the future.

• If you have been following the announcements from Team '23, you knew this was coming. Jira Product Discovery is going GA soon and this articles details what that means from a pricing stand point.

• Compass keeps getting better and better. It’s not possible to create components from your YAML config instead of having to create them manually before you added the YAML file to our source code repo. While this may seem like a small change, it’s a big quality of life improvement!
