📣 Early access program: Jira Service Management for HR Teams

Update November 11, 2024
Thank you all for your patience as we share more details about the EAP. Our goal is to make Jira Service Management easier to use and more powerful for HR teams. The key features that we will seek feedback on are:

  • Orchestration: Easily create complex multi-issue flows, link issues with dependencies, conditions, and add automation logic.

  • Integrations: HR focused integrations starting with employee onboarding use cases.

  • Confidential issues: Lock down issues and be confident that only authorised individuals can access sensitive information.

  • Views of work: New views will provide business teams with flexibility to visualise and track their work in a way that suits their needs, such as board, calendar, and more.

  • Templates: More HR templates to get you up and running - fast!

Hello Community! 👋

We're thrilled to announce a new Jira Service Management early access program (EAP) that will give HR teams the opportunity to test new features. We’re aiming to build a more powerful, intuitive experience that enables you to streamline HR processes, increase efficiency, and gain deeper insights into your workforce.

We want to get these features right, and we know it’s critical to get feedback from customers like you. So, we are looking for volunteers to join the EAP to test, validate, and help shape the future of Jira Service Management.

By joining the EAP, you’ll be among the first to get access to new features as we roll them out. In return, we ask that you let us know what worked well, what could be improved, and anything else necessary to make features useful for your team.

 Who we're looking for:

  • You are a Jira Service Management user, considering, or currently using, the product for HR

  • You are willing to engage with us and provide feedback on features in the EAP.

  • You have experience configuring Jira Service Management

How to get involved:

If you are interested and eligible, we are excited to hear from you! Simply complete the form below and our team will be in touch with more details on how to get started.

Register your interest in the EAP

Comment below if you have any questions. We look forward to working with you!

Best regards,

Michael Fedulov
Product Manager, Jira Service Management

Hi @Michael Fedulov

May I know which features are included in it so that we can decide if we're interested in and participate in EAP?

Thanks,

YY Bro

Hi @Michael Fedulov without registering for the EAP (because I'm not eligble), I'm also interested to know which features are being ideated specifically for HR teams. How would you restrict features to HR teams only in JSM?

It would be good to get a list of features/changes/differences this will have. Is there anywhere that we can see that?

Hi @Michael Fedulov

I tried to sign up for the EAP, but it asks for a "tenant ID". What do you actually mean by that? I was anticipating it's our https://something.atlassian.net but the form is not accepting this input. Or is the tenant our IdP used in SCIM sync?

Hi @Dave Mathijs, just updated the article to include key areas that we are looking at! Our goal is less about creating restricted HR features, but instead, we aim to develop a more intuitive experience that business teams, starting with HR, can fully benefit from.

Hi @Jared Schmitt, this might've been an error on our side, I apologise for the inconvenience. I just had a look and fixed the URL validation logic, https://something.atlassian.net should work. Could you please try again? If it still doesn't work, please feel free to reach out to me directly
