We are using jira service desk server. We also have an internal SMTP mail server to send notifications from jira. Synchronization and time settings are fine. We have a problem with sending notifications to clients, all notifications go to the mail queue and are not sent instantly, it takes 20 minutes. Can you fix this somehow?
there are a few things that need to be checked for this case but a definite answer is not easy in this step.
Have you gone through all troubleshooting steps put on that page?
That might be the case but from an external view the possibilities to debug this are quite limited.
In order to get a solution you would have to pinpoint the cause. This is normally done by looking into the logfiles.
An alternative would be to look around what else is available from documentation - but those are just guesses then:
