This seems kinda dumb, but I can't figure out why the date picker in assets is set to MM/DD/YYYY format. In a Jira board or anywhere in Confluence it is the DD/MM/YYYY format that I want and that should be set based on my language settings (German). Can anybody help me out here?
Hi @f_krupp and welcome to the community,
Most likely, but I can't be 100% sure, the difference is because Assets (formerly Insight) was an app developed by Mindville which was bought by Atlassian and integrated to JSM. So I am assuming that devs in Mindville were using the american format (although Mindville was a Swedish company), while Atlassian is using the European (let's say) format.

Apart from the above, I can't think of another reason.
Hi @Alex Koxaras _Relational_ , is there a way to change the format of the date? Since the answer was accepted, maybe you have a solution?
Thanks for any help
Giulio

Hi @Giulio Bonanome ,
I'm not sure you can change the format of the date. You could create a suggest to jira.atlassian.com about this.
