Streamline Work in Jira with Keyboard Shortcuts (new infographic)

Good day, community!

Hope, you’re having a wonderful Wednesday!✨

It’s time for the final weekly article about the importance of Jira Keyboard Shortcuts and the advantages they bring to you and your team.

You most probably know that the human brain has a limited amount of time when it’s capable of focusing on a single task.

Slack notifications and pop-ups can easily lead you off-tack from you focal task.

And even performing minor functions like grabbing a mouse to do little things, e.g. finding an issue assignee field, typing in your name, and assigning it to yourself, can cause a distraction.
When all the three actions in Jira can be done with one magic button click👌

Mastering Jira Keyboard Shortcuts help you reduce distractions and tackle most common Jira operations faster!

This is why our Jexo Team created a series Jira Shortcuts infographics.

Broken down into 4 Parts, they help teams advance in Jira and have enough time to practice one set of shortcuts at a time.

This Part 4 infographic is a compilation of mostly issue-view Jira Shortcuts, including the recently released ones.

Since end of September, when you open an issue, you can use:

  • 'd' key to update the issue status
  • 'q' key to log work
  • 's' key to share the issue
  • left/right/up/down arrow keys to scroll around the open issue.
