Jira Admin Appreciation Day is coming up on July 14th, and we're ready to celebrate the true MVPs of Jira - our incredible admins who keep our Jira game strong! They keep the game running smoothly so we can all shine on the field. We all know our Jira Admins are the true gamechangers, leading our teams to victory. Get Ready to Cheer! 🎉

Here's the game plan: On July 14th, show your love for your Jira Admin on Twitter or LinkedIn. Rumor has it we’re giving away Atlassian swag to a select group of early birds on Jira Admin Appreciation Day. 

     ⚽ If you're not an Admin, share what you admire most about your MVP-Admin and              give them a shoutout. 🙌

     ⚽ If you're an Admin, show off your footwork and reveal what makes your admin job            a winning play.

As a Jira Admin I…

• ...ensure stable systems through proactive release-, change- and service-management and eliminate faults through the fastest possible reaction.
• ...provide current features and secure software versions through regular, tested and released updates.
• ...evaluate the profitability of solutions through cost-benefit considerations.
• ...seek the ultimate user satisfaction and software competence by promptly processing inquiries and providing information and training content on the products.
• ...establish the basics of working with service providers through active management of hosting contracts, software licenses & service agreements.
• ...collect, evaluate and pursue ideas by being open to constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
• ...keep an eye on trends, needs, and requirements through social networks with users and communities (one of my favorite parts, yay), and build and maintain know-how through regular training.

Side note: In Germany, there is a saying which says "self praise stinks", but that does not count for this Day, right? ;D
