How can I lock dependencies so that I move a date on an issue and the dependencies move accordingly

I have a timeline in a construction project that I have to move dates on my issues constantly.  I am looking to see if there is anyway that attached dependencies can be locked in place so that an issue moves and chronologically the dependency moves and dictates a new schedule of time.

Have you looked at the Auto-schedule feature of Advanced Roadmaps?

Otherwise you would need to build an Automation rule to update the dates of dependent issues when their predecessors change.
