First up, Rovo’s AI features are now rolling out to Standard customers in Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management, so even more teams can start taking advantage of these smart tools.

Next, there’s a new permission in Jira Cloud for managing versions and releases, which should make it easier for teams to control who can do what when it comes to release management. Personally, I’m VERY excited for this one!

You can now use AI to create Jira work items straight from Confluence pages and Loom videos, making it way simpler to capture and plan work right from your docs or recordings.

Threaded comments have landed in Jira Product Discovery, so it’s much easier to keep your discussions organized and follow conversations without getting lost.

Finally, starting March 16, 2026, Bitbucket workspaces will need to be linked to an Atlassian organization if you want to keep using Forge apps, so it’s a good idea to check your settings soon.
