Team ’25 Europe (which is sold out!!) will be my third in-person Team event. I was in Barcelona last year, and let’s just say it was brilliant! For me, it’s not just about the content (though the sessions look amazing), it’s about the vibe: meeting people you only knew through avatars, swapping ideas in hallway chats, and mixing learning with fun.
Here’s a little sneak peek at some of the sessions I’m most excited about:
🚀 Keynotes first! Mo Gawdat’s “AI as your teammate” and Mike Cannon-Brookes’ Founder Keynote are must-sees. I’m especially curious to hear what’s planned for Atlassian apps.
📊 Customer stories. From Škoda Auto’s efficiency wins with Tempo to Mercedes-Benz’s innovation journey. Real-life use cases have always been some of the most valuable takeaways for me.
🎓 Fun & learning. I hope I’ll be able to join “Are You Smarter Than a Jira Admin?” (wish me luck!) and I’m also keen to explore Strategy Collection — a relatively new but exciting way to connect vision and execution.
🏎️ The finale. Atlassian Williams Racing’s “From boardroom to pit crew” plus the Closing Keynote with Carlos Sainz — can’t imagine a better wrap-up before the Bash. (By the way, I’m watching the Azerbaijan race while writing this, and Sainz is in the front row 😄).
I also have to say — I really like the new “My schedule” list and grid views for sessions. Makes it easy to keep track of what I’ve marked and where I need to be.
I’ll be helping the Certification team with exam check-ins, and when I’m not in sessions you’ll probably spot me around the Community & Learning booths.
I haven’t booked any Braindates (yet!), but I’ve done a few at past events — and those conversations were always enlightening. Highly recommend them if you haven’t tried one.
And while I might look a bit scary at first 😅, I promise I’m actually quite friendly (at least that’s what people say, haha). Come say hi!
(Here’s HI! from part of the Certification SME team 👋)
I was lucky enough to attend Team ’24 in Barcelona and Team ’25 in LA earlier this year — both were amazing. My tip if you’re still building your agenda: don’t just go for the obvious “work-useful” sessions. Pick at least one that pushes you out of your comfort zone. Those are often the ones that stick the most.
See you in Barcelona! 🚀
