Hi everyone! I’m Phil Hyun, a product marketing manager for Rovo, and I’m excited to share that Rovo is now rolling out to Standard plans for Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management.
We know you’ve been patiently waiting for Rovo and all its AI features to be available for Standard while Premium and Enterprise plans gained access, but it’s finally happening! Starting this September, Rovo is coming to Standard plans for Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management. By November, most organizations with Standard plans will gain access to Rovo.
Let’s walk through what this means for you.
Rovo is your team’s AI teammate. It’s designed to help you find answers, connect the dots across your company’s knowledge, and automate repetitive tasks, all without leaving your Atlassian apps. Here’s what you get:
AI powered enterprise search and chat: Find what matters across all your apps and accelerate learning with tailored insights to deliver high-impact work, faster.
Out-of-the-box agents: Agents are ready-to-work, optimized for the Atlassian cloud platform, and include specialized skills that help every team tackle any task.
One place to build in studio, coding optional: Create everything from AI agents to automation in one unified experience - with or without code with studio.
Bring you favorite tools to Rovo: Rovo isn’t just for Atlassian apps, Rovo connectors can pull in info from places like SharePoint and Google Drive, too.
The rollout is happening between September and October. If you’re on a Standard plan, your org admin will get an email once Rovo is ready for your site. Admins can also check by heading to ‘Atlassian Administration’ > ‘Products’ and looking for Rovo in the list.
Once it’s live, you’ll start seeing Rovo features in Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and the app switcher.
Here are a few new features you might want to try right away:
Deep Research is agent’s and chat’s new feature that can do the heavy lifting for your research projects. While most questions can be answered with a simple prompt, some require AI to go deeper and dig through a vast set of sources - thats where Deep Research comes in. It can plan your approach, search across sources, reason through the findings, and deliver a structured report.
You can now bring in third-party sources like SharePoint and Google Drive. That means your help seekers get the most up-to-date answers, even if the info lives outside Atlassian apps.
Upload over 40 different file types—PDFs, spreadsheets, Google Docs, meeting notes, specs, you name it—directly into chat. Rovo can summarize, highlight trends, or even create graphics from your spreadsheets.
We have two different resources to help you and your teams onboard meet your onboarding needs.
For admins: Check out the admin guide for onboarding tips for your team.
For everyone else: The end user guide is a great place to start exploring what Rovo can do.
Once you give it a try, let us know what you think! Your feedback helps us make Rovo better for everyone.
Ready to try Rovo? Check your Atlassian site, and start exploring!
