need jira heldesk software

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: JIRA applications overview

Hi My friend

actually we have JIRA software for track our businees workflow,now we need JIRA helpdesk sofware as well.my question is we should install another software seperatly from our JIRA server or not?i mean can we install JIRA help desk as same server with JIRA software or not

Ok, you need an older version of Service Desk, from back when it was an "add on".  You can get it from https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.servicedesk/versions and I suspect you'll find your licence key will work fine.

again thank you for your quick response, we installed service desk plugin successfully

but i use trial license that expire in 30 days,we should buy another license for service desk or not?

Have you bought a licence for service desk agents?  If you have, then you should be able to past that into the licence box for the add-on

If you're on evaluation, then yes, you'll need to buy licences for Agents

JIRA Service Desk is an application for JIRA, as is JIRA Software.  You can simply install it from "manage applications", get a licence for some agents, add one or more service desk projects and you're away!

You could do it separately, but that means having two servers and separate services to licence and maintain.

is it right the help service integrated just with version 7 or not? if yes would you please help me to find manage application path for adding mentioned service thank youjira.jpg

i see no manage service field in our JIRA pannel

 

and we have bought licesne for our JIRA software.
