we are seeing issues in JIRA where some issue ids are showing strikethroughs on requests that are not in a Done or Resolved status.
we see this when we have blockers linked to items, as well. Also, I see them as striked out when we do immediate creation (CREATE) of an issue type. There is no pattern to it since it is linked to all issue types (stories, tasks, spikes).
Also, to be clear, this is not for reopening a ticket from DONE to an open status. This happens on creation of new items too.
I suspect someone has put the resolution field on your create and possibly edit screen, so issues are being resolved as they are created or edited.
The resolution field should only be put on transition screens, ones used in transitions that go from an open type status to a closed/ended/resolved one
