Custom Field - Paragraph doesn't seem to support rich texts

Hello,

Our team needs to add a custom field that can support both longer texts and links to URLs. So, we created one by selecting "Paragraph (support rich texts)" as the field type.

However, after we created the field, it shows that the type is just "Text Field (multi-line)" in the custom field list. Also, when we actually add links in the field, the URLs don't change to clickable texts.

Should we have to pick a different field type to achieve what we want? Or, do we have a bug in our Jira space?

Thanks for your time.

Hi @Celina Kim

You will need to change your field configuration settings for the field and set it a a wiki renderer. Instructions here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Change-render-on-custom-field/qaq-p/1774805
