How do I delete a team-managed board that I created?

I am the owner and creator of the organization and board.

None of the answers in the community show the options that I see. Here is what I see:

The fact that this issue has come up so many times in the help section should be an indicator that this is not well set up. Very disappointing from Jira.

Team-managed boards cannot be deleted without deleting the project. the board is integrated with the workflow and the only way to manage the workflow is from within the board.

Thanks Mikael! @Mikael Sandberg

Still very confused ... are you saying that for team-managed orgs ... the project and board are tied together always and you can only have one board per project?

Tied to this is the fact that I cannot seem to add another board to this project:

This is problematic because I need to make a kanban board and the current board is scrum.

Correct, in a team-managed project the board is integrated in the project, and you cannot have multiple boards in a team-managed project either.

Once you created a team-managed project you can change it between scrum and kanban by turning off sprints. Note that team-managed projects are limited in what can be done in them, this is one of those limitations.

That link does not apply to Team-managed boards created with the project.
