assign Jira servicedesk tickets to backlog (scrum)

hi there,

we use Jira servicedesk and jira software (scrum) for our organisation.

When new tckets arrive, we wanna (automate) assign this to the backlog of the jira software (scrum). Is that possible ?

First I would not move the JSD issue to JSW . Rather I would create a linked issue in JSW. I would look to an addon, e.g. Automation for Jira or Scriptrunner to automate everything. I would automate the creation of the linked issue triggered on a transition to a status e.g. “Development” and I would also automate updates to the JSD issue based upon transitions to the JSW issue.
