I have a series of Automations setup and would like to send an email notification to a user group in Jira. I created the user group:
Admin -> User Management --> Groups
However, when I create the Automation Action to send an email to this group, the group is not available for selection. I tried selecting the group in other actions (assign) and its not there either. Some of the groups listed in Admin are available but not all.
How do I get my groups to show so I can action with them?

Was the Automation For Jira already open when you created the Group? If so, maybe just refresh/reload Automation For Jira and then check to see if the Group shows up.
If not, can you post a screenshot of the rule you are trying to add the group to?
I refreshed and tried all kinds of things without success. Here are screenshots of the group (names redacted); created the email trigger; adding the group but its not found (while some on the groups list are)

Maybe click the X to remove the item in green that is already there. If you just click in the box with nothing in it, it should bring up field values, group values, etc.

I just discovered the problem. The field selector in the drop down search is case sensitive..need to match the group exactly in the search. Ugh. Thanks
