I am trying to use the JQL Search Extension, which is included in the Jira apps. Everytime I press "Start searching" after the "Get started" section, I just see a black screen. After a few seconds, a pop-up window shows up, I have included it in a screenshot below.
What is the problem and how can we solve it?

As the popup message shows, its an issue with their end so you can raise a request by clicking on the contact support.
I have indeed tried that, but the link only seems to lead to this forum and not to contact someone.
