Task Status is "Closed" but "Task Closed Date" is empty in custom workflow

Hi ! A custom workflow has been implemented with final date as "Closed". When a ticket is verified, the teammates just mark the status as "Closed". My expectation was that system would record the task closed date automatically when status is changed but as can be seen in the snapshot, Task Closed Date is empty.

You have to use a post function to capture your custom's field date. Click the "QA in progress" to Done transition and then post functions. Add a post function to update a custom field.

Choose the "Task Closed Date" as the field and  %%CURRENT_DATETIME%% as the value.

Hi @Muhammad Nouman  Welcome to Atlassian Community!

I think Task Closed Date is a custom field. When moved to Closed status system capture issue Closed Date in Resolved Date field not in Task Closed Date. 

Kindly check Resolved Date and Resolution of an issue. 

If Resolved Date is EMPTY and Resolution is unresolved , then it means Resolution is not set on Closed transition. Kindly add Resolution on Closed transition, then Resolved Date will set Automatically. 

If you want to capture, Resolved Date in Task Closed Date, for this you need to apply Copy Field Value or Update Issue field post function.
