Remaining Estimate Field

Hello,

"Remaining Estimate" field CAN be updated, in Edit view of ticket. But can we find a way to make it more easily editable, without going into Edit mode, from the non-edit ticket view? There is a popup dialog for this now, but it requires a non-zero entry be logged for time worked, or else it won't allow making any change to Remaining Estimate. Would like to be able to (1) just change Remaining Estimate and (2) do this easily with minimum of clicks and scrolling.

unfortunately remaining time is just editable through edit screen (if field is in that screen).
