Hi,
I created the Service Desk project, then added my workflow to it. I wanted to add an approval option, unfortunately clicking on the status I do not have chceck box Add Approval. I have the approvals field added to the creation and editing screen. The Service Desk version is 3.7
Hi,
unfortunately, I'm a little late to the party.
I just had the same problem and found out that the workflow must be assigned to a Jira Service Management project (at least one, probably).
What made it a little tricky in my case was that although the workflow scheme with the workflow in question (no approval checkbox) was linked to a JSM project, the issue type assigned to the workflow was not included in the project's issue type scheme. As a result, the workflow was not used in the JSM project and was therefore not associated with any JSM project.
After I added the IssueType assigned to the workflow in the IssueType Scheme and edited the workflow again, the approval checkbox was there.
Hope this helps.
Hi @Tomasz Bryła,
If you check this page: https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskserver037/setting-up-approvals-935575805.html
"To set up an approval step on a workflow for your project, you need to have the Jira administrator global permission"
Do you have the right permissions?
Cheers,
Adrián.

Hi @Tomasz Bryła,
Is it a draft workflow? If published, is the workflow matched with an issuetype used in a service desk project?
