Hi, I have recently started using Gitlab and integrated with Jira. Both Gitlab and Jira server are self hosted internally.
I have come across a requirement where I want to create a branch in Gitlab for a project directly from the JIRA issue.
Is it possible to do it? If yes then how? Is there any plugin required for that?
I am unsure if this extends to Gitlab as an application, however, the normal process should be something similar to what is described here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/configuring-workflow-triggers-802592811.html
However, this involves triggers from workflows rather than a direct creation from the development panel.
Hi @Ismael Jimoh I am really not familiar with all these. would you mind giving me more details around it like how and where do i start.
Please note my Gitlab is internally hosted and not exposed publically. Same with Jira.
