Is there a limit on displaying number of items in select list for custom fields?

I have a custom fields (clients), we have more than 100 clients, it's still allowing us to add more clients onto the list, however it's not displaying the new item that just recently added in screens. 

is there a limit for displaying items on custom fields list?

Hi Steven, 

There is no limit, however you should keep performance in mind when adding more custom fields.
