Is it possible to have different custom field values for different issues for the same project?

Hi,

I want to have different Custom field values for different Issue Types under the same project.

For eg. I have a Project "Demo". It has 2 issue types- Story and Bug. Say for the field "Priority" I want 2 completely different sets of values for the 2 issue types. I have tried using context, but have to select the project type along with the Issue Type, hence the field is not present while creating the other issue type.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can do it, and you do it with the field contexts, as you've already tried.

Problem is that the field context settings are limited, and for any given field, you can only set a context by type, project, or a one off combination of them, you can't have many different types of context for a field.
