I am trying out service desk for my organization and we have a need for a parent child structure of customers. Like a partner having several customers, the partner should be able to open cases as the child account but not having the issues linked or mixed.
In the cloud setup I am trying out i can only create a customer with users but not a hierarchy.
No, there's no way to do that.
I don't think it ever will either. Atlassian see the customers as customers, not collections. A "partner" as you put it should be an agent as they're actually taking calls from customers.
