How to view filter value label in Dashboard

Joseph Yesuvadian January 12, 2021

In Jira Dashboard, i have added a filter with condition as

project in ("Optic Web") AND issuetype in (Bug) AND filter in ("Bug Created - Sprint 7 timeline", "Bug Created - Sprint 8 timeline") and saved the filter result as "Total Bugs"

I have added the filter in Dashboard(Two dimensional filter). I need to view the bugs in the below form,

Sprint Critical Major Medium
Bug Created - Sprint 7 timeline 10 20 50
Bug Created - Sprint 8 timeline 5 30 70

Thanks for checking it.

I am using the gadget - "Two Dimensional Filter Statistics" below are the values being listed in the axis.  There are no such axis details to populate the filter labels

If if understand you correctly you now need "priority" on one axis and "Sprint" on the other.
Please check and tell us if it works or if you meant something totally different.

Hi,

Thanks for checking,

When checked with Sprint, we could see the defects priority Vs Sprint.

To give you more context,

We have 2 separate teams following same sprint time line. (Say Squad 1, Squad 2 therefore each having separate Sprint name) and following 2 sprint before PROD Release.

So if i apply Sprint to as a parameter,

Sprint1 Squad1 10 5 5

Sprint1 Squad2 7 5 5

Sprint2 Squad1 1 5 5

Sprint2 Squad2 0 5 5

My Expectation

Sprint1 17 10 10

Sprint2 1 10 10

I have given the filter label as Sprint1(includes both squad1,2) and Sprint2 (includes both squad1,2). However I could not use the label as a parameter in Dashboard. Hope it is clear.

There is a longer discussion on limitations of labels in Two Dimensional Filter Gadget:

You can watch the corresponding Suggestion though:

The gadget you've chosen is the one I would reach for.

Do you have an actual problem with what it is showing you?
