We would like to send a weekly report of issues to a user who does not have a Jira account. Is there a way to setup a subscription on a filter so that it sends a weekly report to an email address that is not associated with a Jira account? Or a plugin that would allow this? TIA
probably a clunky but possible way would be to register an account with your company like "reportxyz@ourCompany.tld" with a forwarder (to be done in your mailsystem) to "john.doe@MyCustomer.tld" - so in short Jira delivers the report to an "internal mailbox" and the mailsystem would forward the report externally.
Of course, you would have to subscribe "reportxyz@mycompany.tld" to the report intended to be sent out.
There were some similar questions in the past which also ended up in a recommendation for a "dummy account":

Makes sense, I was thinking about something similar to this. Wasn't sure if there was a better answer out there than doing a mail forwarding but may end up going this route. Thanks for your response!

We support this in Notification Assistant for Jira on a per project basis. If you need this to be wider than per project, let me know.

I appreciate your response. I need to send a report that pulls issues across multiple projects. I will check out your plug in though. Thanks.

Hi Meredith,
If you have any issues, feel free to open a support ticket at https://atlasauthority.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/group/1/create/1 and I will jump on it.

May be automation for jira having sending email option to others , but we have to check how the subscription can be associated with automation for jira
