How to display Priority in Board and Backlog?

I currently have a team managed project and have Priority as one of fields for each Jira tasks. However the Priority just does not show up in Board and Backlog views unless we click into each task. 

I was wondering if there is a way to display Priority in Board and Backlog views.

Hi @Qin Chen,

In Jira this is possible only with company-managed projects; the team managed projects do not support this. So one option would be to switch to company managed projects.  

A solution for displaying priority on a team-managed project board, would be to use the Team Wallboard gadget offered by our Great Gadgets app could be helpful in this case. It displays the issues of a Jira agile board as cards, along with their priority. The card colors can be customized.

In addition, it can group the issues by priority by using priority swim-lanes:
