Jira lets me create groups containing non-ascii characters but when I try to edit or delete the group I get the following error: The group 'group name' is not a valid group.

How do I delete such a group?

This is usually if the database is not fully configured to accept UTF-8, I recommend to talk to your database administrator to check if the collation (localisation) option being changed to utf8_bin (that is, case-sensitive binary UTF8).
