We are setting up our support desk and have run into a potential show-stopper. We need to enter all our contacts for the companies we support from a .csv export file. We can't have these all go out as emails to our customers, we just need them in the system. They can all have a default password for the import, and we can change as they begin to use the new support desk.

How can we get this information into JIRA service desk? I have the companies imported, but need a work-around for the individuals.

Thanks in advance.

Jeffrey

Hello Jeffrey,

At this time, not possible to suppress the 'Welcome Email' a Service Desk Customer receives when they are invited; there is a Feature Request to add in this functionality: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSD-1620

In addition, currently the User CSV Importer is only applicable to Import JIRA Users and cannot be used to bulk import Service Desk Customers: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSD-1829
