How can I split notifications with JQL to two different slack channels?

Through our service desk we have two teams; digital and content. We both take on specific tasks through different forms. The content team only have one form, whereas the digital team have quite a few. 

We've been using the 'Slack Integration' to send all notifications of new issues created to a shared slack channel but we can't determine which is content and digital through here as labels don't know through the notification. 

So, I've set up two channels in Slack, one for digital and one for content. I've then set up two connections but when I try to use the JQL function, determining labels for each channel, none of the notifications come through to either channel in slack. Any ideas on how this works?

I've also tried to set this up through automation which works BUT doesn't have the option to assign, transition etc through slack which we would prefer to have.
