Frank Ebeler December 28, 2015

The European court has declared "Safe Harbour" for ineffective. So if European customer like to use services provided by American companties that are hosted on American servers the are not compliant with European law. Does Atlassian offer a solution for that issue?

There is no solution other than "move off Cloud and host it yourself, or with a 3rd party who won't host it in the US".  There's actually a lot of European users who have not realised that they're using Cloud illegally and need to move off.

Um, the question is about Cloud security.  This add-on is not for Cloud.

You may also like to review the security statement at https://www.atlassian.com/cloud/security/ for other aspects of the hosting service. For example the backup retention policy of 4 weeks only.
