Hi there,
I tried to assign an issue to a user manually, but it doesn't allow me to do so. There is a pop-up reminder that this user cannot be assigned issues.
I checked some other posts here but couldn't find the solution.
The board is a service project, and the user in question has 3 roles even - developer, service desk team and team coordinator. Other users that have even less roles are possible to be assignees.
Does anyone have a suggestion?
Thank you!
Hi Natasha - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
First, the user must be an Agent for Jira Service Management. Second, they must have the Assignable user permission in the Permission scheme for the project. I suspect the problem is that the user is not an Agent.
Hi @Natasha Vieira,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Make sure that the user in question has been assigned a JSM license. The error you see usually happens if the user do not have the right license, even though they have been added to the right project roles.

Welcome.
Does this user have a JSM license assigned, or I the user just added to a role on the project?

The user is missing the permission - Assignable User.
Check the permissions scheme.
