Hi community,
I would like to change the default/option view in the project, currently my project showing "Queues" as default, I would like to change it to Issues and Filters (Issue Navigator) and pin to toolbar on the left and hide some functions probably users don't need (like screenshot 2), but couldn't find where to change the settings, could someone give me some advise ?
Thanks,
Hi @Jack Yang
The project navigation is not configurable, by the features option mentioned by @Tomislav Tobijas _Koios_ you can disable options, but that's all.
As a suggestion (bad one off course), don't use a SaaS solution. SaaS solutions have options not configurable due to the nature of conducting platform wide updates.
You can change the Netflix menu as well!!
Hi @Jack Yang ,
This project navigation is not that 'flexible'/configurable. However, you can enable or disable particular features you're not using. To do that, navigate to Project settings > Features and enable or disable particular feature (like Services and such).
Regarding app items in the sidebar, these vary from vendor to vendor/app to app. Some apps can be configured and visible per project, while others can only be turned on/off for the whole site.
One additional note about the whole sidebar and the customization options - I would recommend checking out the following announcement: Atlassian’s new navigation is now available in Beta!
Atlassian is planning to roll out new navigation for all/most of their products, including Jira Service Management. With it, users will be able to customize navigation furthermore and reorder and hide items visible in the navigation bar. So you might want to try it out.
Expected rollout/GA is in early 2025.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Tom
