My Jira was on "Free" plan. About one month ago, when I added more than 10 users to the group, it automatically changes to "Standard" plan.
Now I've reduced group user amount back to 10, and am trying to change my subscription from "Standard" back to "Free", but when I assess the subscription board, the only option is "Reactivate", which directly leads to payment.
How can I cancel my "Standard" plan and get back to "Free" plan without any payment?
Hi @June Zhong welcome to the community. I have a feeling that Atlassian thinks you're still using more than 10 active users and won't let you switch to the 'Free' plan because of that.
This community isn't going to be able to look into the specifics as we're mostly users here, but if you contact Atlassian Support and choose the 'Billing, payments and pricing' option they can take a deeper look into your plan and let you know what's going on.
Hope that helps.
Hello @June Zhong
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
If your product was deactivated (you see a "reactivate" message") then it could be that
1. Your plan was automatically upgraded to a Standard trial due to exceeding the 10 user limit.
2. You did not reduce the users and downgrade before hitting your next Billing Date.
3. You did not pay that bill.
4. Atlassian deactivated your product due to not paying the bill.
If that is indeed the sequence of events, then you will probably have to reactivate the product and pay the previous bill before your product can be downgraded to the Free plan again.
As @Dan Breyen suggested, I also recommend that you contact the Billing team about this.
